Welcome to Alberta! After your arrival at Calgary Airport you pick up your rental car and drive to the Rocky Mountains.
The first two nights will be spent at the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort.
The entire day is spent exploring Banff National Park, probably the most famous of the Canadian National Parks. You might want to visit Lake Louise and Lake Moraine, go for a hike at spectacular Johnston Canyon and take the gondola up to Sulphur Mountain.
Today you travel along the Icefields Parkway, undoubtedly the most scenic road in the Rockies. Peyto Lake, Mistaya Canyon, the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls are just some of the highlights you will see today.
In the evening you arrive in Jasper where you overnight at Becker’s Chalets for two nights.
Today there is time to explore Jasper National Park. You might want to visit spectacular Maligne Canyon and beautiful Maligne Lake, where you can go on a cruise to famous Spirit Island, rent a canoe for a couple of hours and go hiking.
On your way to Clearwater, you might want to stop at some viewpoints that provide beautiful vistas of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Overnight at beautiful Blue Grouse Country Inn, near Wells Gray Park, for two nights.
Today you visit Wells Gray Park. Enjoy spectacular waterfalls and beautiful alpine meadows. A canoe tour on Clearwater Lake (optional) is also a great way to explore the Park.
Today, you are driving to Bridge Lake, a small town in the picturesque Interlakes Region.
Two nights are spent at Wettstone Guest Ranch.
Day at leisure! There is lots to do at the Ranch: canoeing, swimming or fishing at the private little lake. You may also go for a guided horseback ride or for a walk around the lake..
Along Duffey Lake Road, a spectacular old logging road, you continue to Whistler. In the afternoon, there is time to explore the pretty little town, site of the Olympic Winter Games in 2010.
Overnight at the Aava Hotel in Whistler.
Today you leave the majestic mountains around Whistler behind and continue to the idyllic Sunshine Coast. In North Vancouver you take the ferry to Langdale and then you continue along the coastline to Egmont.
You spend two nights at Sunshine Coast Resort
The entire day is spent exploring the Sunshine Coast. You might want to participate in a boat tour to remote Princess Louisa Inlet and visit the rapids in Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park.
In the morning you take the ferry to Saltery Bay and then continue to Powell River. From there, you take the ferry to Vancouver Island. On Highway 19, the Island Highway, you continue to Campbell River where you take a little ferry to Quadra Island.
Two nights are spent at Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge on the island.
Today you might want to go for a walk along the beach in Rebecca Spit Provincial Park. On sunny days, this is also the perfect spot for a swim and a picnic. In the evening, enjoy a traditional native dance show at the Lodge.
On the way to Tofino you might want to take a short hike in Cathedral Cove Park where 800-year-old Douglas Firs can be admired.
You will spend the following two nights at Middle Beach Lodge, a beautiful oceanfront property near Tofino.
The entire day is at leisure to explore the beautiful beaches and the fascinating rain forests of Pacific Rim National Park. Also, the half-day whale-watching tours to observe gray whales are recommended.
Via Port Alberni you continue to Nanaimo where you board the ferry that will take you back to Vancouver.
Your hotel is the Moda Hotel in Downtown Vancouver (two nights).
Vancouver, one of the most beautiful cities in the world is definitely worth a visit! On a hop-on hop-off city tour with Big Bus (optional) you will visit many of Vancouver’s attractions such as Stanley Park, historic Gastown, Chinatown and Granville Island.
Drive to the airport and flight back home.
